This painting was inspired by the breathtaking wildflower valleys near Colorado’s Maroon Bells — one of the places that first awakened my love for painting. Out there, the air feels thinner, the colors feel brighter, and God’s beauty almost feels tangible.
When I painted this piece, I felt the Lord reminding me that He clothes creation with extravagant detail — not because He has to, but because He loves us.
Just like these flowers bloom boldly in the valley, He invites us to bloom even in hard seasons.
